Adidas Development Training Programs |
Overview |
Husson University Development Training Programs are a quick intensive, 3-week development program for players who have participated in at least a travel soccer program and would like to continue developing their skills over the summer. There will be two, 3-week blocks, for a total of six training sessions. Each session will have a theme (eg. Shooting and finishing, technical and tactical defending, one v one’s etc). Each training session will be led by a member of the Husson University Men’s and Women’s Soccer teams coaching staff, including Head Coaches Gavin Penny and Dennis Mullins. This development training program will be fun, but challenging, with the intent to see improvement in individual ability within each block of sessions. At a minimum, the development training program will provide the ideas and tools for players to continue their development outside of any training sessions they attend. Since this will be a series of challenging training sessions, we will only be accepting players who have participated in travel soccer at a minimum. We are asking that players only register if they are serious about soccer and would like to receive detailed instruction on how to improve their game. These sessions are geared towards field players, although goalkeepers can register if they wish to improve on their foot skills. We will be running a separate clinic for goalkeepers. |
